Master Visualization with Champion Rock Climber Josh Levin

Join me on a journey to unlock the hidden power of visualization through the lens of competitive rock climbing. Together, we’ll explore how to apply the visualization techniques I’ve gained through decades of climbing to your own team’s goals.

Whether your team members are new to climbing or already experienced climbers, my aim in this class is to help boost your creativity & gain the skills necessary to tackle your next presentation, meeting, or professional challenge with confidence. No equipment or experience necessary!

In this class, we’ll primarily focus on active visualization (route reading) and how it’s applied in climbing and beyond. First, we’ll analyze footage of some of the best climbers in the world across multiple disciplines and define active visualization. Next, we’ll warm up and practice the visualization techniques we just learned. Finally, I’ll share some of my most valuable mental training exercises through virtual interactive games we’ll play together.

Throughout the class, I’ll open up the discussion to any questions you or your team may have. Looking forward to sharing this experience with you soon!

Note: This class is optimized for a single 90-minute session, but can be modified to fit a 60-minute duration (or otherwise) as needed. Please contact ahead of time for additional details.

My Background

Climbing has been my passion for over 20 years now and I've been fortunate enough to travel the world through my climbing experiences. In my competitive career, I've won 19 National Championships, 5 Continental Championships, the bronze medal at the Youth World Championships, and am a former US record holder in speed climbing. I’ve also been involved as an advocate for climbing’s inclusion in the Olympic Games and have served as an ambassador to the IOC on several occasions. In addition to climbing, I'm also a mechanical engineer and finalist on American Ninja Warrior. In my spare time, you can find me listening to podcasts or reading Calvin & Hobbes. Looking forward to meeting you soon!
