"Not Another Figure Painting" Workshop

Color Me Nude – “Not Another Figure Painting” Workshop- learn in a different fun way and 20% of the proceeds will be donated to Breast Cancer Research Foundation

In the world of Photoshop and Instagram filters, the desire to enhance body image has been more significant than ever. It is a very common issue today, particularly for women. With advertisements and pictures of a certain ideal continuously bombarding us, it is easy to start feeling bad for our bodies.

In this workshop, we celebrate all bodies and help everyone to understand the value of individuality. Challenge media’s definition of beauty and acceptance of all bodies through art and creativity.

Bring your team and join us in a super fun expressive art. Let go of your expectations of what figure drawing is. For this virtual pop up, we are doing things a bit differently. It’s all about letting loose, relax, and let your hand flow.

Feel free to join the workshop using any painting media of your preference, however, our artist will be teaching in watercolor.

**Admission does not include a painting kit. Check out the product section to purchase one for your team.

My Background

Happy Creative Dig, an organization offering creative workshops that support worthy non-profits. We redesign traditional workshops to create memorable experiences through collaborations with independent artists. Our goal is to promote positive impacts and bring consciousness as a message we share to our audiences.

This workshop will be taught by Brooklyn-based fine artist, creative educator and textile designer Claire Wilson. Her work focuses on the re-contextualization of beauty in nature and figurative studies that explore the use of color, shape and lines. Painting brings her peace, and she hopes participants experience the same.
